Job Description
Everett Golf & Country Club is a prestigious private club established in 1910, located in a scenic setting that offers a wide range of recreational and social amenities. Known for its rich heritage and commitment to excellence, the Club prides itself on delivering outstanding value and impeccable service to members and guests alike. As a member-driven organization, the Club emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere grounded in core values such as Respect, Integrity, Tradition, Value, Excellence, and Fun, making it one of the most sought-after golf and country clubs in the region. The Club facilities include a championship golf course, fine dining venues, banquet halls, and a variety of seasonal outlets designed to enhance the member experience throughout the year.
The Food & Beverage Director position at Everett Golf & Country Club is a key leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage operations. This includes the oversight of both front-of-house and back-of-house functions to ensure that service standards not only meet but exceed member expectations. The Director plays a pivotal role in staff development, operational planning, and financial management, working closely with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager, and Events Coordinator to craft exceptional dining experiences. The role demands a service-driven leader who is visible and engaged with members and guests, fostering a culture of hospitality and professionalism.
Beyond operational oversight, the Food & Beverage Director is charged with developing annual operating budgets, managing departmental business plans, and ensuring the financial health of food and beverage operations. This includes monitoring revenues, labor costs, inventory controls, and expenses to maintain profitability. The Director is also deeply involved in menu development, pricing strategies, and quality initiatives in partnership with the Executive Chef, ensuring that the Club’s culinary offerings remain competitive and appealing.
Staff leadership is another critical component of this role. The Director is responsible for recruiting, training, mentoring, scheduling, and evaluating the entire food and beverage team. Performance reviews and professional development opportunities are regularly conducted to promote growth and maintain high standards. The role also encompasses planning and promoting dining programs, member tournaments, special events, and club functions, contributing to the overall vibrancy of Club life. This role is part of the Club's management team, offering a chance to influence the broader strategic direction of Club services.
Employment with Everett Golf & Country Club offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance fully paid by the Club. Additional perks include a 401(k) plan with Club matching after six months of employment, complimentary employee meals during shifts, golf privileges, and access to select Club amenities. The work environment is professional, collaborative, and supportive, ideal for a motivated individual seeking to build a rewarding career in hospitality management within a prestigious private club setting. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as necessary.
