Heritage at Irene Woods is a renowned senior living community committed to enriching the lives of older adults by providing exceptional care and hospitality. Nestled in a welcoming environment, the community offers residents a vibrant and supportive atmosphere designed to enhance the quality of life through personalized services and engaging activities. Recognized for its dedication to the wellness and dignity of seniors, Heritage at Irene Woods creates an extraordinary living experience by investing in not only its residents but also its team members. The company prides itself on its strong values, innovative programs, and a culture that embraces diversity and continuous improvement. Heritage at Irene Woods operates with a deep philosophy of hospitality, aiming to make every interaction meaningful and every day fulfilling for its residents and staff alike.
We are seeking a dynamic and hospitality-focused Director of Culinary Services to join our leadership team. This full-time, hands-on management role is integral to overseeing the Culinary Services Department within the community. As the Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness, ensuring that every meal experience contributes positively to the residents’ satisfaction and well-being. You will be a key member of the management team, tasked with upholding our community’s mission, vision, and values along with the company’s Hospitality Promises.
The Director of Culinary Services will develop and maintain a comprehensive and upscale culinary program that supports a positive dining experience for all residents. This role involves not only administrative and leadership responsibilities but also occasional hands-on involvement in cooking and service when necessary. You will supervise a team by interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, rewarding, and managing performance in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Your expertise will guide the creation of menu cycle programs that meet nutritional requirements and cater to specialized diets, complying fully with local regulatory standards.
Financial oversight is another critical aspect of this position; you will work to meet or exceed budgetary goals while maintaining quality and operational efficiency. Ensuring a professional and well-trained staff will be essential, as will regularly evaluating food service quality through resident feedback and operational reviews. The role fosters a culture where business decisions and employee engagement collaboratively drive the overall success of the community, including top-line revenue and occupancy.
This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced culinary leader passionate about hospitality and senior living to make a meaningful impact. Heritage at Irene Woods values enthusiastic and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to creating a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment. Join us in a role where your culinary expertise and leadership will contribute directly to the happiness and health of our residents.
