This full-time, on-site role is designed for an experienced professional who will oversee all food and beverage operations across the property, including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and room service. The Director will be responsible for ensuring outstanding guest experiences, driving team performance, managing budgets, and achieving revenue goals. This role also involves menu development, procurement, and the adherence to strict health and safety regulations. Serving as the property’s chef when the chef is absent, the Director will lead collaboration with culinary teams to develop innovative menus and seasonal offerings that align with both customer preferences and business objectives.\n\nBeyond day-to-day operations, the Director will develop and execute strategic plans to boost revenue, optimize cost control, and elevate customer satisfaction across all food and beverage outlets. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of all food and beverage department staff. The Director will also maintain quality standards in food, beverage, and service, while ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. They will play a key role in supplier relationship management, inventory control, and procurement to ensure smooth operations and adequate supply levels. Furthermore, the Director is expected to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team, leading special event planning and banquet execution when applicable. This role includes responsibility for rigorous financial management, including budget preparation, financial analysis, and P&L oversight. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities are essential to respond promptly to guest needs, address concerns, and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years leadership experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong financial acumen with budget management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English for communication
  • Certifications in food safety and responsible alcohol service
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • On-site presence required
  • Ability to use office, procurement, POS, and accounting software
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to comply with company and hotel policies
  • Exceptional communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in food and beverage management preferably in hotel, resort, or upscale dining
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English for effective communication
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industry trends, customer service best practices, and culinary/beverage innovations
  • Certifications in food safety and responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS)
  • Proficiency with office, procurement, POS, and accounting software
  • Ability to prepare statistical reports and presentations
  • Ability to comply with company and hotel policies and procedures
  • On-site presence with some administrative responsibilities
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all Food and Beverage departments and staff
  • Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and room service
  • Act as property’s chef in absence of on-site chef
  • Develop and execute business strategies to increase revenue, optimize cost control, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement F&B department’s vision, goals, and strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of F&B managers and staff
  • Maintain quality standards in food, beverage, and service across all venues and events
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to create innovative menus and seasonal offerings
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory, procurement, vendor relationships, and supply chain
  • Monitor financial performance and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements
  • Lead special event planning and banquet execution
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to hotel profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Implement sustainable practices in sourcing, waste management, and operations
  • Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner
