Job Description

Our company is a distinguished hospitality group specializing in the management and operation of upscale restaurants renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences and premier private event services. With a strong commitment to culinary excellence and outstanding customer care, our establishments have built a loyal clientele by transforming every visit and event into a memorable occasion. We pride ourselves on cultivating a team-oriented environment that fosters innovation, professionalism, and continuous improvement in the competitive restaurant industry. Our comprehensive approach to service extends beyond exquisite menus to delivering seamless event operations that cater to the diverse needs of our guests.

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dynamic Private Events Manager to oversee and enhance our private event operations within the restaurants. This role is pivotal in ensuring flawless execution from conception to completion while exceeding financial and customer satisfaction targets. The Private Events Manager will be entrusted with the responsibility of owning all aspects of the event lifecycle including sales, operations, client relations, and team leadership. The successful candidate will develop strategies to meet and surpass revenue goals, work closely with the culinary team to ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a welcoming yet professional atmosphere tailored to each event.

In this role, the manager will meticulously adhere to and manage restaurant financial plans and budgets related to private events, identifying opportunities to optimize spending and increase profitability through detailed trend analysis alongside the financial team. This position demands a hands-on approach to generating new business leads, coordinating with vendors, managing purchasing and inventory, and ensuring compliance with corporate and restaurant-specific standard operating procedures. A key element involves fostering strong client relationships by handling all communications regarding proposals, contracts, and event details, as well as providing on-site inspections and post-event follow-ups to guarantee client satisfaction.

Leadership is central to this role—building, training, and inspiring a top-tier events team are paramount. The Private Events Manager will coordinate with front and back-of-house leaders to orchestrate day-to-day operations, actively participate in operational meetings, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment that complies with all health and safety regulations. Moreover, the manager will create an engaging ambiance for events by adjusting environmental factors such as lighting, music, and temperature, ensuring every guest enjoys a refined and comfortable experience.

The successful candidate will not only manage events but will also play an instrumental role in cultivating relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders to strengthen the restaurant's market position. Staying abreast of industry trends and competition will inform innovative practices and promote the continued growth and generosity within the hospitality operation. If you are passionate about hospitality excellence, thrive in fast-paced environments, and possess strong leadership and organizational skills, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path with comprehensive involvement in all facets of private event management within a leading restaurant group.
