This role focuses on managing the event planning team within a vibrant Marriott property, overseeing the entire event planning function on a daily basis. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team that includes Senior Event Managers, Event Managers, Associate Event Managers, and Administrative Assistants, ensuring seamless coordination from pre-event preparations through post-event processes. This includes overseeing administrative tasks associated with each event phase to guarantee a smooth transition between sales and operational activities while maintaining outstanding service standards. The position drives revenue growth by focusing on maximizing upselling opportunities and providing accurate forecasting for catering and group room bookings. Successfully managing these activities directly contributes to both guest satisfaction and the financial performance of the event planning department.

The manager plays a pivotal role in reviewing scheduled events, troubleshooting potential conflicts, and anticipating service challenges to avoid disruptions. They lead the development of catering menus and uphold departmental policies, fostering a culture of excellence within the event planning team. A major aspect of the role involves continuously enhancing guest satisfaction by diligently analyzing feedback, implementing corrective actions, and establishing clear service guidelines for employees. The candidate also works alongside vendors and customers to develop partnerships that enhance event experiences and expand revenue streams. Job Duties
