The Event Operations Manager position at Philadelphia Marriott Downtown is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing all facets of event service, banquet, and event technology operations. This includes direct oversight of a diverse team comprising Senior Banquet Managers, Banquet Managers, Senior Event Service Managers, Event Service Managers, Event Technology, and Operations Managers. The core objective is to ensure the seamless execution of events, maintaining the highest standards of service throughout all event phases.

Job Requirements

  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Ability to manage and lead diverse event operations teams
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
