Job Description

DeZURIK, Inc. is a renowned manufacturer specializing in flow control solutions and valves, dedicated to delivering high-quality products that optimize fluid handling across various industries. Known for their commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, DeZURIK supports a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth and operational excellence. The company champions a culture that prioritizes safety, environmental stewardship, and accountability, which are integral values embedded in every aspect of their operations.

At DeZURIK, safety isn't just a program—it’s a core value that guides the company’s everyday actions and long-term strategies. The Director of Enterprise Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) plays a pivotal role in embedding this ethos throughout the organization. This leadership position involves championing a safety-first culture by building robust systems, standards, and accountability frameworks that protect employees and ensure safe operations across multiple facilities. With a focus on operational ownership and execution, the Director will serve as a vital resource for safety and operational leaders, working diligently to harmonize EHS practices, improve safety performance, and reduce operational risk. This role requires up to 30 percent travel to various company sites to engage directly with teams on the ground, foster strong working relationships, and ensure consistent deployment of injury prevention and environmental programs throughout the enterprise.

The Director of Enterprise EHS will partner closely with executives and operational leaders to establish comprehensive safety and environmental management systems that comply with OSHA, EPA, and manufacturing safety standards. Responsibilities include designing and implementing safety and environmental standards, developing enterprise-wide reporting dashboards, crafting targeted training programs, and instituting governance protocols that drive accountability and continuous improvement. This position demands a leader who can fluently communicate complex safety concepts both at the strategic level with senior leadership and at the operational level by interacting with frontline employees on manufacturing floors.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in regulatory compliance, industrial safety, and environmental management coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and inspire a safety culture throughout the organization. Attention to detail and pragmatic problem-solving abilities are essential for mitigating risk without hindering business productivity. DeZURIK values leaders who are principled, ethical, and passionate about fostering environments where every team member takes ownership of safety and environmental responsibility. By joining DeZURIK as the Director of Enterprise EHS, you will be driving initiatives that protect people, sustain the environment, and strengthen the company's commitment to operational excellence and Powering Progress through Water.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $111,971 to $139,964 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside annual bonuses tied to individual and company performance. DeZURIK’s market-leading benefits package enhances employee well-being through comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, accompanied by short- and long-term disability coverage. Additional perks include a health savings account with company matching contributions, retirement plans with employer contributions via Vanguard, and access to the Granite Assistance Fund, providing essential support during times of need. The company also emphasizes work-life balance by offering generous paid time off, inclusive of volunteer time off and paid holidays. DeZURIK is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming candidates of all backgrounds. Sponsorship for this role is not available.
