Job Description

Arrivia is the largest stand-alone travel loyalty provider in the world, powering programs for leading US and global brands. As a dynamic company on the move, Arrivia is heavily invested in the future of technology and artificial intelligence, aiming to redefine the travel experience at every level. Specializing in enhancing brand value through travel, Arrivia connects partners and consumers to exceptional experiences by leveraging trusted expertise and expansive scale. This strong foundation positions Arrivia as an industry leader within the travel, hospitality, and loyalty sectors, continuously innovating to meet the evolving needs of its clients and users.

We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our forward-thinking team. This role is pivotal in expanding Arrivia's global footprint through a strategic combination of proactive business outreach and impeccable event execution. The Director will be a consummate professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and enjoys representing the company at major industry conferences. This position requires a unique blend of strategic vision and meticulous operational management, ensuring that Arrivia not only builds valuable partnerships but also maintains a powerful and memorable brand presence at every event.

The Director of Business Development will serve as a primary market representative for Arrivia, requiring frequent travel—typically one to two times per month—to engage with prospects and industry leaders directly. The successful candidate will own the entire conference lifecycle, taking responsibility for strategic planning, budget oversight, booth setup, shipping logistics, and on-site execution. Additionally, this role demands deep expertise with HubSpot CRM. As a power user, the Director will manage lead pipelines, deal tracking, and provide executive-level reporting to inform and guide the company’s growth strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring at least six years of experience in business development, sales operations, or partnerships. A strong background in the travel, hospitality, or loyalty industries is preferred, along with proven proficiency in HubSpot. The role requires strategic thinking combined with excellent execution skills to manage complex event logistics and ensure flawless delivery. This is a full-time position based in or willing to relocate to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, facilitating close collaboration with local teams and efficient event management.

In return, Arrivia offers a competitive benefits package designed to support a healthy work-life balance and personal growth. The company provides unlimited paid time off (PTO), encouraging employees to recharge and explore the world—a fitting benefit given Arrivia’s travel focus. Employees also enjoy access to exclusive travel rates and perks through Arrivia's industry-leading platforms. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan, are also available, underscoring the company's commitment to long-term employee well-being and security. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a cutting-edge, fast-growing company where you can make a significant impact on the future of travel loyalty and technology.
