Established as a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, Chick-fil-A is dedicated to providing a positive dining experience that goes beyond just serving meals. The company prides itself on its commitment to the people it serves, creating an environment where both customers and employees feel valued and respected. With a focus on fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, Chick-fil-A has cultivated a loyal customer base and continues to expand its footprint through consistent quality and outstanding service.
This particular opportunity is with Chick-fil-A located at 120 Andrew Drive in Pittsburgh, PA, operating under the CFA Robinson FSU property number 03972. This establishment operates as a community-minded restaurant that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and excellence in every aspect of the dining experience. The hiring for the position of Director reflects the company’s initiative to strengthen its leadership team by bringing on board individuals who not only thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting but also demonstrate genuine care for their coworkers and customers alike.
The Director role at Chick-fil-A is a dynamic leadership position designed for energetic, hardworking individuals who possess both the passion and skills necessary to oversee restaurant operations and lead teams effectively. Directors play an integral role in ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service. They are responsible for setting the example in all areas including food preparation, safety protocols, and customer interaction to reinforce the brand’s commitment to excellence.
In this role, Directors collaborate closely with other leadership team members such as fellow Directors, the Director of Operations, and the Operator to ensure smooth and seamless execution of daily requirements. They are encouraged to actively contribute ideas for process improvements and foster an environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and high performance. Directors are also expected to be hands-on leaders who step in to support daily operations when needed, from making sandwiches and drinks to handling cash and supervising team members across various positions.
Given the multifaceted nature of the role, Directors must possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a highly responsible and organized approach to managing their obligations. They play a vital role in resolving conflicts and unifying employees to work together efficiently. Physical capability is also important, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of operational duties.
Chick-fil-A offers Directors competitive pay and several attractive benefits designed to support personal and professional growth. Benefits include paid time off, opportunities for individual development, Simple IRA eligibility after one year, cell phone reimbursement, paid days off for birthdays, healthcare access with subsidies for some positions, tuition reimbursement for qualifying employees, and a work schedule that generally keeps Sundays free except for occasional team meetings. Directors also enjoy a direct line of communication with the Operator, enhancing their ability to influence positive change and growth within the restaurant.
Overall, this position offers a rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about leadership, customer service, and working within a vibrant and supportive community-focused dining environment. Chick-fil-A seeks Directors who are not only capable managers but also compassionate leaders committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest while fostering a positive workplace culture for all employees.
