This approach not only aligns the interests of the company with those of its employees but also drives continuous innovation and exceptional service delivery. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, and operational excellence, Shorr Packaging remains a trusted partner for businesses looking to optimize their packaging strategies.

The company is currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Food Packaging to join its leadership team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing Shorr Packaging’s strategy in the food and beverage packaging sector, encompassing materials, equipment, and related services. Additionally, the role involves leading cross-functional pursuit teams to secure strategic programs, managing pricing discipline and profitability, building strong supplier/manufacturer relationships, and supporting new customer onboarding and implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess at least seven years of progressive experience in food or beverage packaging, along with comprehensive knowledge of food safety and quality systems such as SQF, HACCP, and GFSI standards. Strong analytical and financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and proven consultative selling expertise are required to influence customers and internal stakeholders effectively. The role includes domestic travel up to 40% of the time and offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range from $180,000 to $220,000 per year.

Shorr Packaging provides a rich benefits package, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, and a 401K plan with matching. As an equal-opportunity employer, Shorr Packaging is committed to inclusivity and diversity in its workforce, ensuring all candidates receive fair consideration irrespective of veteran or disability status or any other protected classification.
