Job Description

Sodexo is a global leader in providing integrated food services and facilities management, operating across various sectors including stadiums and arenas, cultural destinations, and convention centers. With a commitment to enhancing quality of life for the communities they serve, Sodexo is dedicated to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional food service experiences, catering, and operational solutions by collaborating closely with its clients to meet their unique needs. Sodexo fosters an environment where every employee is valued for who they are, encouraging diversity and offering equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of background or personal characteristics. This culture supports professional growth and ensures a respectful, supportive workplace.

The Regional Chef role at Sodexo is a systems-focused culinary leadership position that supports 17 accounts spanning California, Washington, and Hawaii within their Stadiums & Arenas, Cultural Destinations, and Convention Center units. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence and optimize culinary operations on the West Coast. The candidate must reside in this region to effectively support these locations.

In this position, the Regional Chef will design, maintain, and enhance the operational backbone that ensures menu consistency, data accuracy, and recipe execution across multiple accounts. This individual contributor role requires a skilled culinary professional with expertise in recipe development, standardization, and compliance to ensure every dish meets high-quality standards consistently across diverse venue types. The Regional Chef will apply technical skills in culinary data systems, including menu management software and nutritional databases, to optimize food service operations with precision and efficiency.

The role involves creating scalable workflows and processes that drive operational efficiency and strong data integration between culinary strategy and execution. The Regional Chef will play a key role in aligning ingredient data, nutritional standards, and cost visibility, facilitating the seamless execution of recipes and menus at scale. Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams, this position helps develop impactful standard operating procedures (SOPs) that improve overall food quality, guest satisfaction, and operational reliability.

The compensation range for this role is between $115,940 and $150,040 annually, with eligibility to participate in Sodexo’s incentive plan offering variable compensation in addition to the base salary. This comprehensive package reflects the candidate’s experience, skills, education, and training. Sodexo emphasizes personal and professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement and career advancement pathways.

This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a dynamic, systems-oriented environment and enjoys applying data-driven solutions to enhance culinary operations at scale. If you are passionate about culinary excellence and operational consistency and eager to work within a company that values inclusive culture and sustainability, the Regional Chef role at Sodexo offers the platform to make a significant impact.
