This position is based in Garden Grove, California, at Safran Cabin’s state-of-the-art facility. It is a full-time and permanent role offering a competitive salary range from $133,230 to $209,360, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors. The role reports directly to the Director of Operations and plays a vital role within the Continuous Improvement team, focusing on operational excellence across the Cabin Division.

The Director, Continuous Improvement at Safran Cabin is a senior leadership role entrusted with guiding and managing key initiatives in operational and continuous improvement strategies. The successful candidate will coordinate and lead continuous improvement activities that align with Safran Group’s methodologies such as Lean-Sigma and One SAFRAN, driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. This role serves as a critical interface among the Cabin Division, Safran Cabin branch, and the global Safran Group CI organizations, ensuring that all efforts are harmonized and effective.

Key responsibilities include leading Lean and Continuous Improvement projects, developing strategic master plans aligned with corporate goals, driving operational excellence initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This position also plays an essential role in advancing the QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) maturity across the site by deploying and monitoring improvement initiatives and actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement through communication and training.

Situated in an office environment with regular production floor interactions, this role may occasionally require travel within the division’s locations. It demands excellent leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills, alongside a deep understanding of Lean-Sigma methodologies and operational best practices in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering contexts. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects and influence cross-functional teams effectively in an international and dynamic setting.
