Job Description
Delaware North Boston Holdings is a leading hospitality and entertainment company that owns and operates TD Garden, New England's largest sports and entertainment arena located in Boston, Massachusetts. TD Garden is renowned as the home of the NHL's Boston Bruins and the NBA's Boston Celtics, hosting over 200 diverse events annually and attracting more than 3.5 million visitors. Delaware North, a family-owned company with over 100 years of history, is committed to delivering exceptional experiences through its operations in iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, restaurants, hotels, gaming, operations, and retail sectors worldwide. The company's culture emphasizes career growth, diversity, and inclusion, providing employees with numerous opportunities to thrive personally and professionally in vibrant environments.
The Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics role at TD Garden is a pivotal full-time leadership position responsible for overseeing two crucial business functions: Business Intelligence and Data Strategy. This role involves guiding a combined team of BI analysts, data engineers, CRM specialists, and technical analysts, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives such as revenue optimization, fan engagement, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. The Director sets the vision, priorities, and quality standards for these teams while leading through a transformative period aimed at creating a unified data ecosystem with real-time insights and actionable analytics. The position demands a hands-on leader who combines technical expertise and business acumen to translate strategic vision into executable plans, champion data-driven decision-making, and maintain close collaboration with senior stakeholders across departments including Ticketing, Premium, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Operations.
Key objectives include advancing the organization's customer data strategy toward a "Golden Record," driving adoption of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies, and building a high-performing, scalable team in support of long-term growth ambitions. Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary ranging from $119,500 to $161,300 per year, along with an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or an uncapped sales incentive plan. Furthermore, Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package that enhances the work experience, acknowledging the importance of personal and professional well-being for its employees. This role suits a dynamic, strategic leader dedicated to service excellence and fostering a culture aligned with company values, providing a unique opportunity to influence how data shapes the future of a top-tier sports and entertainment venue.
