Specializing in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ResCare Community Living is committed to helping people live fulfilling and independent lives at home and within their communities. As a part of Sevita, a leading organization in home and community-based specialized health care, ResCare benefits from decades of experience and an expansive network that serves over 50,000 individuals across the U.S. today. The company’s mission centers on delivering person-centered care that fosters growth, overcome challenges, and unlock new possibilities for those they serve. With a team of passionate and trained professionals, ResCare continuously innovates to improve accessibility and effectiveness of their support services.
As a Program Supervisor at ResCare Community Living, you will play a vital role in advancing this mission. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of others, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each person supported by the program. This position blends administrative leadership with hands-on caregiving and community engagement, providing a diverse and rewarding work experience.
The supervisor will manage a team of Caregivers, providing guidance, training, scheduling, and performance oversight to ensure quality service delivery. In addition to leadership duties, the role requires direct involvement in supporting individuals with daily activities such as meal planning and preparation, medication administration, and personal care. This dual responsibility ensures the Program Supervisor remains connected to the outcomes of the services provided while fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Facilitating community involvement is another key aspect of the role, with the supervisor accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities, reinforcing social inclusion and independence.
This is an outstanding opportunity to cultivate supervisory skills and gain invaluable experience in a supportive and mission-driven organization. ResCare offers competitive benefits and flexible schedules, including full-time, part-time, and as-needed options, making it accessible for a variety of candidates. Full-time employees also enjoy a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and more. Joining ResCare means becoming part of a nationwide network committed to improving quality of life for individuals with disabilities while supporting the careers of their employees with career development and advancement opportunities.
If you seek a meaningful career where your efforts genuinely impact lives daily, and you want to be part of a caring team that shares your dedication, then the Program Supervisor role at ResCare Community Living offers a fulfilling path to professional and personal growth.
