We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Dining Assistants to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for residents by providing attentive and friendly service. As a Dining Assistant, you will be responsible for welcoming residents, taking their food and drink orders, and collaborating closely with the culinary staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals. Your ability to memorize the menu and recommend alternatives will be key in providing personalized service while accommodating resident preferences and dietary needs.
This position offers no late-night shifts, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a balanced work schedule. Both full-time and part-time employment types are available. The pay range for this position is $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, reflecting our commitment to rewarding quality work. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to take food and drink orders accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including full-time or part-time
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcoming and sitting residents comfortably in the dining section
- Taking residents food and drink orders
- Collaborating with the culinary staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend alternatives when needed
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all resident issues promptly
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and preparing the dining room for special events
- Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
