The Dining Services Manager role at Aramark is a pivotal management position responsible for overseeing dining operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored dining solutions. This role involves managing teams that deliver prepared food services from menus, emphasizing operational excellence, financial performance, client relationship management, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards. As a Dining Services Manager, you will use Aramark’s coaching model to develop employees to their full potential, rewarding and recognizing exceptional performance while ensuring team objectives align with client expectations.

In this dynamic and rewarding position, the Dining Services Manager plans and leads daily team briefings to maintain clear communication and operational alignment. You will be responsible for identifying client needs, communicating operational progress, and ensuring financial targets are met through diligent oversight of profit and loss statements and strict adherence to food and labor initiatives. Managing and training a team skilled in production, quality control, and compliance is central to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships across departments, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Physical stamina and the ability to manage tasks involving occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods are essential.

Job Requirements

  • one year of prior management experience
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • ability to lift, transport, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • stamina to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • one year of prior experience in a management capacity
  • preference is given to those with a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • competence in showcasing superb customer service
  • sustaining productive client and customer relationships
  • capability to maintain harmonious working relationships with different departments
