As a Dining Server at Sunrise Senior Living, you play an essential role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. This position involves delivering timely and professional meal service while nurturing positive connections with residents to enhance their daily experience. Dining Servers assist residents with menu selections and provide accurate descriptions to ensure satisfaction and comfort. The role also requires maintaining a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables in accordance with community standards, and completing assigned side work and opening or closing duties. In addition, Dining Servers participate in pre-meal meetings to stay informed about menu offerings and use Sunrise’s order entry systems to accurately process food and beverage orders.

The Dining Server position is full-time or part-time with competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $21.25 per hour, reflective of experience and community location. Job Requirements

  • Ability to provide attentive and efficient customer service
  • Previous experience in food service or dining roles preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
  • Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Basic computer skills for order processing
