Danbury Senior Living is recognized for its dedication to providing quality care and comfort to its residents, fostering a positive atmosphere where everyone can flourish. The company operates within the senior living sector, offering residential and dining services tailored to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Danbury Senior Living values its employees as critical contributors to the community’s success and well-being, setting it apart in the senior care industry by nurturing a culture of inclusivity and appreciation.
Within this caring environment, Danbury is currently recruiting Dining Servers, a role also known by titles such as Dietary Aide, Dietary Server, or Dining Services Aide. The position primarily supports residents by providing restaurant-style food service in dining areas, maintaining cleanliness of workspaces and dining rooms, and assisting with other designated tasks under supervisory direction. The role is designed as a part-time opportunity, offering flexibility with shifts primarily scheduled from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 7pm, requiring commitment for two to three days per week. Although the role is part-time, Danbury extends a robust benefits package typically reserved for full-time employees, including company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, life and accident coverage, and access to an extensive employee assistance program.
Dining Servers at Danbury receive company support through various optional benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, voluntary life insurance, critical illness coverage, hospital indemnity, accident protection, legal assistance including adoption and estate planning support, pet insurance, identity theft protection, and retirement savings plans including a 401(k) with company matching. Employees can also enjoy perks such as vacation eligibility starting from the 90th day of employment, paid holidays at double time, on-demand pay options for financial flexibility, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Experience working in senior living dining, food service, or dietary departments is helpful but not required; the ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, cheerful demeanor, and genuine love for seniors, willing to contribute to making residents' days better. Danbury Senior Living stands as an equal opportunity employer, firmly committed to non-discriminatory practices across all employment stages . This role provides an excellent chance to join a stable and compassionate organization, grow professionally, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of senior residents by ensuring quality dining experiences and comfort.
