The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is currently seeking an In-Room Dining Server to join its food and beverage team. This role is integral to ensuring that guests receive impeccable room service that meets the hotel's high standards of quality and presentation. The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for promptly delivering food orders and amenities to guest rooms, accommodating any special requests or needs. They must greet guests warmly, provide detailed descriptions of menu items, and ensure proper setup and cleanup of room service areas. The role requires attentiveness to guest satisfaction, the ability to handle guest concerns with urgency and professionalism, and careful management of guest checks, including securing room numbers and signatures. This position offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality are paramount.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Transport food orders and amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner
  • Greet guests and provide thorough descriptions of food and beverage items
  • Breakdown, clean, and set up room service tables and necessary items
  • Coordinate tray and table removal efficiently
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature
  • Settle voided checks or complimentary meals appropriately
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently to concerns and requests
