The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is currently seeking an In-Room Dining Server to join its elite food and beverage team. This role is fundamental to the guest experience, as servers will be responsible for delivering food orders and amenities directly to guests in their rooms in a timely and courteous manner. The role requires not only the physical transportation of orders but also a thorough understanding of the menu to provide detailed descriptions and suggestions. In-Room Dining Servers are instrumental in maintaining the high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service expected at a luxury Five-Star property. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down room service tables, coordinating tray and table removal, managing guest check closure with accuracy, and attentively responding to guest needs and special requests.

Job Duties

  • transport food orders and amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner
  • greet guests and provide thorough descriptions of food and beverage items
  • break down, clean, and set up room service tables and necessary items
  • coordinate tray and table removal
  • properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature
  • settle voided checks or complimentary meals
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
