Job Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong understanding of common restaurant practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk without rest
- Capable of pushing lifting carrying and transferring up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach bend and communicate verbally with others
- Visual capabilities including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and focus adjustment
- Access to all restaurant areas including the sales floor stock area and register area
Job Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues swiftly
- Attention to detail with a strong ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in computer skills particularly with POS systems
- Relevant experience in restaurant service is preferred
Job Duties
- Engage with guests to take their orders leveraging your menu knowledge and effective selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items are well-prepared and delivered in a timely manner according to company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to understand their needs and assist them in making menu selections
- Share information about new promotions and products with guests
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu items and maintain the standards for quality food serving only items that meet our excellence requirements
- Accurately input orders into the POS system
- Assist with clearing tables and may participate in light side work as specified
- Practice safe food and beverage handling while ensuring cleanliness
- Effectively use food prep equipment such as knives coffee makers and iced tea machines
- Address and resolve guest complaints as they arise and involve management when necessary
- Engage positively with guests managing crowd dynamics and ensuring a pleasant wait for meals or carryout orders
- Support team members in various job categories as needed
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
