The Dining Room Server role at Belmont Village Senior Living is an integral part of the community’s dining experience. Serving both part-time and full-time shifts, this position is hourly paid without tips. The role focuses on delivering attentive, personalized dining service in the on-site restaurant and during special events in the Assisted Living community. Dining Room Servers collaborate closely with the Dining Room Coordinator and fellow servers to ensure each meal is a positive and memorable experience for residents.
This position requires individuals who are reliable, proactive, and empathetic, capable of working efficiently in a dynamic, sometimes fast-paced environment. - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to efficiently multi-task be an active listener and collaborate effectively with team members
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on hospitality oriented position
- Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior restaurant server experience is preferred
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Job Duties
- Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate orders offer menu recommendations and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature with proper presentation and accuracy
- Prepare and set up the dining room for service ensuring flatware condiments and beverages are always ready
- Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
