Job Requirements

  • high school diploma
  • minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage operations management
  • knowledge of service styles and techniques
  • experience with budgets and reporting
  • ability to supervise, hire, and train staff
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • effective communication skills
  • financial acumen
  • certified or willing to obtain Food Handlers certificate
  • current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
  • ability to maintain social standards in formal dining settings

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations management
  • experience in high quality restaurants, country clubs, hotels, or senior living companies
  • knowledge of current service styles and techniques
  • working knowledge of budgets and reporting
  • high school diploma required
  • college degree in related field preferred
  • possess or able to obtain Food Handlers certification
  • current CPR and First Aid certifications or willing to obtain
  • certified dietary manager or certified food protection professional license preferred

Job Duties

  • manage all dining venues including the Care Center
  • ensure high quality dining experience for residents and guests
  • supervise, hire, train and create a high-performing team
  • oversee food and beverage operations
  • maintain budgets and prepare reports
  • apply knowledge of current service styles and techniques
  • interact professionally with residents and guests
