Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in food service or related field
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Capability to work well with others
- Commitment to maintaining positive relationships with residents and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- 2-4 years of previous experience in food services
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Professional communication skills with residents, employees, family members, volunteers, and the public
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good rapport with residents
Job Duties
- Maintain effective and efficient dining services and positive resident and visitor relations
- Assist General Manager with interviews, hires, training, supervision, and retention of dining staff
- Serve residents promptly and courteously following standard meal service routines
- Conduct nightly sanitation checks of the dining room
- Supervise dining staff to ensure food storage compliance
- Communicate work orders or equipment problems to supervisor
- Assist dining management team with opening, closing, and kitchen responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to meet resident service needs
- Enforce dining service policies including safety, infection control, and sanitation
- Purchase dining supplies within budget and approved vendors
- Perform quality assurance audits of meal service, dining areas, safety, and sanitation
- Complete other assigned tasks as required
