Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Proficient in operating cash registers
- Comfortable using computers and phone systems
- Ability to carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to accurately observe and differentiate monetary denominations
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests
- Sufficient mobility to maneuver in the work area
- Compliance with local health regulations for food handling
- Ability to present a professional image consistently
- Completion of required training, including anti-discrimination and anti-harassment courses
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome customers immediately upon arrival, confirming their party size and any special needs
- Process payments from customers per established cash handling procedures and effectively address customer complaints and suggestions
- Seat guests at tables or booths suitable for their needs and preferences
- Handle incoming phone calls promptly
- Ensure a steady supply of clean menus and maintain their good condition
- Provide initial beverage orders and assist with refills whenever possible
- Support service staff in cleaning and resetting tables as required
- Keep the waiting area and register tidy and organized
- Present a professional image and maintain a courteous, friendly demeanor at all times
- Embody and advocate for company values
