Job Description
Fooda is a pioneering company in the food service industry, specializing in bringing a diverse range of rotating popup restaurants directly into office environments. Founded in 2011 in Chicago, Fooda began as an innovative solution to a simple problem faced by office workers seeking convenient, high-quality local cuisine without the hassle of traveling away from their workplaces during lunch hours. This idea quickly blossomed into a full-fledged company that now operates across 45 cities throughout the United States, serving over 120 million meals to date. Fooda's unique business model leverages technology and partnerships with more than 2,500 local restaurants to offer employees a variety of food choices within their work settings such as company offices, office buildings, hospitals, schools, and distribution centers.
As a rapidly growing player in the workplace dining segment, Fooda has established itself as a leader dedicated to enhancing employee experience by ensuring that workplace food programs are enjoyable and eagerly anticipated daily. The company’s success stems from its commitment to quality service, variety, and convenience, making it a sought-after partner for corporate clients and food vendors alike.
The role currently open is for a Dining Associate - Dishwasher based in the Santa Clara market, supporting Fooda's expanding footprint. This is a vital position for maintaining the high standards expected at Fooda cafes by ensuring cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and smooth operational support. Ideal candidates for this role are energetic, friendly, and customer-service oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people.

This role requires proficiency in handling point-of-sale systems, cash management, and working effectively as a self-starter with excellent communication skills.
