Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or nutrition-related field
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience
  • Certification from Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN)
  • Experience with weight management and bariatric patient populations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with computer software
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or nutrition-related field
  • Two years of clinical nutrition experience
  • Certification from Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN)
  • Experience working in weight management and bariatric populations
  • Prior acute care experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with computer and relevant software
  • Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff

Job Duties

  • Complete inpatient and outpatient nutritional assessments and reassessments
  • Implement appropriate interventional strategies to improve nutritional outcomes
  • Participate in outpatient group nutrition classes and individual appointments
  • Provide specialized nutrition education to patients and family members
  • Deliver in-services and lectures to clinical staff
  • Mentor dietitians, dietetic technicians, and diet aides to improve performance
  • Educate dietetic and medical students and serve as a consultant for interns, residents, and physicians
