Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or nutrition-related field
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience
- Certification from Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN)
- Experience with weight management and bariatric patient populations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with computer software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nutrition and dietetics or nutrition-related field
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience
- Certification from Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN)
- Experience working in weight management and bariatric populations
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Effective communication skills in English
- Proficiency with computer and relevant software
- Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff
Job Duties
- Complete inpatient and outpatient nutritional assessments and reassessments
- Implement appropriate interventional strategies to improve nutritional outcomes
- Participate in outpatient group nutrition classes and individual appointments
- Provide specialized nutrition education to patients and family members
- Deliver in-services and lectures to clinical staff
- Mentor dietitians, dietetic technicians, and diet aides to improve performance
- Educate dietetic and medical students and serve as a consultant for interns, residents, and physicians
