The role available is for a Nutrition Educator, a vital position within the organization that involves recommending appropriate nutrition care based on clients' nutritional status. The individual in this role provides both individual and group nutrition counseling and education, evaluates client needs, and makes informed nutrition recommendations. This position requires travel to support various locations and programs, fostering collaboration with internal teams and external partners to develop nutrition programs, educational materials, and counseling services. The estimated salary for this position ranges from $63,918.68 to $83,094.28 annually, based on experience.

As a Nutrition Educator at Baptist Health, you will be fundamental in supporting the health and wellness of diverse patient populations by translating scientific nutrition knowledge into practical advice and care plans. You will engage directly with clients, delivering tailored nutrition education that aligns with individual health goals and medical conditions. Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in nutrition or related health science
  • Licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) in Florida
  • Registered dietitian through Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
  • Open to licensed dietitians with less than 1 year experience qualifying for Dietitian 1
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations
  • Bilingual English/Spanish desirable
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care

Job Qualifications

  • Master of science in nutrition or health science related field
  • Licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN)
  • CDR registered dietitian/nutritionist
  • Board certification in a nutrition specialty
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable
