Renowned for its centers of excellence in cancer treatment, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences, Baptist Health is fueled by a faith-based mission of medical excellence and sustained by philanthropy. For over two decades, Baptist Health has earned a reputation as a leading healthcare provider, being recognized for 26 consecutive years as one of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For. In the latest 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, it was the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida, garnering 63 high-performing honors.
What truly distinguishes Baptist Health is its people and the culture they foster. The organization prioritizes creating genuine connections among colleagues that transcend the workplace, and building meaningful relationships with patients and their families beyond just providing medical care. Many team members have personal experiences that closely relate to those of their patients, driving a deep commitment to compassion and quality care. This shared empathy forms a culture rooted in purpose where every employee plays a crucial role in making a positive impact. At Baptist Health, every member is ‘all in’ when it comes to caring for people.
The organization emphasizes supporting employees through every phase of their personal and professional journeys. Its “grow our own” philosophy encourages team members to build long-term, fulfilling careers, backed by a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to truly make a difference. These benefits include clear career growth and development pathways, extensive health and wellness resources that exceed traditional offerings, wellness programs aimed at reducing medical plan deductibles, tuition reimbursement to promote continuous learning, and many other initiatives tailored to employee well-being.
The role of Registered Dietitian (RD) at Baptist Health is integral to delivering superior patient care within this thriving healthcare system. The RD serves as the expert in nutritional assessment and intervention for acute care hospitalized patients, designing medical nutrition therapies tailored to each patient's diagnosis, physical exam results, and overall health. The professional is responsible for identifying the appropriate nutrition regimen, placing corresponding orders in the medical record, and clearly communicating the nutrition care plan to all relevant parties including patients, families, and healthcare teams. Additionally, the RD contributes to departmental goals by engaging in process improvement efforts and rigorously documenting all findings, orders, and interventions within the electronic health record system.
This role offers an estimated salary range of $56,791.50 to $73,828.95 annually, contingent upon experience, providing a rewarding career opportunity within a respected healthcare organization. The Registered Dietitian position requires a mix of clinical expertise, communication skills, critical thinking ability, and a commitment to service excellence, making it a perfect fit for nutrition professionals passionate about making a tangible impact on patient health and recovery.
