The Dietary Manager role within Aramark SeniorLIFE+ is a critical position supporting resident dining operations within the culinary department. This role involves developing and executing resident-focused dining solutions that comply with nutritional standards, meet resident needs, and align with customer preferences. The Dietary Manager applies technical training to interpret government-mandated healthcare nutrition regulations, ensuring healthy and compliant menu offerings in a skilled nursing environment.

A key part of this role involves managing daily food service operations in compliance with established standards. The Dietary Manager leads patient service staff, ensuring that meals are prepared, assembled, and delivered accurately and on time. Conducting regular patient and departmental rounds to assess food service quality and address areas for improvement is essential. This role also oversees diet office operations and the Service Ambassador program to ensure effective communication and service execution.

Leadership responsibilities include engaging and developing team members using Aramark’s coaching model, recognizing employee contributions, and ensuring team performance meets operational goals and service standards. The Dietary Manager plans and leads daily team meetings to communicate priorities, reinforce standards, and drive accountability. Upholding safety and sanitation standards is a constant priority.

Additionally, this role requires building and maintaining strong client relationships to support partnership and business objectives. The Dietary Manager proactively identifies client needs, communicates operational updates, and delivers exceptional customer service consistent with Aramark’s service model.

Financial performance is another critical aspect, with responsibilities including assisting in preparing and reviewing departmental financial statements, supporting achievement of financial goals, and utilizing Aramark systems to understand financial metrics and control costs. Driving operational efficiency through effective cost controls, labor management, and profit optimization is vital.

Compliance and safety are paramount. The Dietary Manager must maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for clients, customers, and employees, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

This position offers a $1500 sign-on bonus, reflecting Aramark's commitment to attracting dedicated professionals passionate about serving seniors.
