This particular opportunity is for a Dietary Aide - Dishwasher position located in Bellingham, Washington. The role is full-time with a 1.00 FTE on a day shift lasting 8 hours. The salary range is between $19.66 and $29.47 per hour, varying based on factors such as education, training, work experience, collective bargaining agreements, and seniority. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and may have multiple openings. As a Dietary Aide - Dishwasher, your primary responsibility will be to carry out diversified duties within the kitchen and tray line areas ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food service support.

In this role, you will ensure that all dishware, flatware, pots, and pans are cleaned and sanitized correctly, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish room and carousel areas. You will assist in assembling patient food trays accurately along the tray line, deliver and retrieve patient food carts to and from patient floors, and restock small wares in the cafeteria server as needed. Maintaining a safe environment through consistent machine temperature checks recorded in the HACCP log is an essential duty, along with performing other associated duties assigned by supervisors. This position demands the ability to work around heated surfaces, moving water or liquids, and requires vision and hearing within normal limits. You will frequently be moving around the workspace, lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, and performing tasks that require reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, squatting, and kneeling. The role combines physical activity with attention to cleanliness and safety regulations, contributing directly to patient care standards.
