Job Requirements

  • 5 years culinary experience required preferably as a Brand Chef or R&D Chef
  • Fundamental understanding of kitchen operations and flow of service, breakdown of position and roles, and standard tools and materials
  • Strong knives skills required
  • Self starter, must be able to work under little direction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse teams
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of culinary experience preferably as a Brand Chef or R&D Chef
  • Fundamental understanding of kitchen operations and flow of service
  • Strong knife skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with other chefs and culinary teams to develop and refine dishes
  • Stay ahead of culinary trends and integrate contemporary, international, and dietary-specific trends into offerings
  • Perform regular tastings and product testing to assess flavor, texture, and presentation
  • Monitor food preparation, cost, quality, quantity and portion control
  • Support kitchen staff with training and implementation of new recipes and cooking techniques
  • Ensure hygiene standards are kept to the highest standards at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct reports
