Job Requirements
- Valid medical license to practice dermatology
- minimum 1 year experience in dermatology practice
- commitment to 12-month locum tenens assignment
- ability to provide after-hours phone call coverage
- flexibility to work 2 days per week with schedule between Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- willing to see 40 - 45 patients per day
- reliable transportation and ability to relocate if needed
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree
- board certification or eligibility in dermatology
- experience in general dermatology
- ability to manage pediatric and adult patients
- proficiency in performing biopsies and excisions
- good communication and patient management skills
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Duties
- See 40 - 45 patients per day minimum
- conduct full body scans
- perform biopsies and excisions
- manage acne treatment
- provide after-hours phone call coverage for own patients
- maintain long-term patient care with a 12-month minimum commitment
- coordinate with recruiter for credentialing and privileging process
