McDonald's USA does not participate in these employment decisions nor receives any employment applications for this position. The position available is Department Manager, a key leadership role within the restaurant. Department Managers lead shifts weekly, managing teams of crew and other managers. Their primary mission is to ensure that every customer has a great experience every time they visit. Depending on the specific department assigned, responsibilities may include overseeing guest service, kitchen operations, or people management. Guest Service Department Managers supervise front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service, oversee sales promotions, and ensure efficient operations of the McCafé, Front Counter, and Drive-Thru areas. Kitchen Department Managers focus on food quality, safety, production efficiency, cost control, and staff training, including menu updates. People Department Managers are tasked with recruiting qualified crew, providing thorough training, scheduling employees effectively, and fostering a positive and motivating work environment.

The ideal candidate has prior managerial experience, preferably in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings. Flexibility in scheduling, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in McDonald's famously fast-paced environment are essential.
