This McDonald's franchise is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Department Managers to join their team full time, starting at $18 per hour. The role entails working various shifts including day, opening, and closing shifts, each with key responsibilities in ensuring excellent guest service and efficient operations. Department Managers are vital to the success of the restaurant, as they oversee specific functional areas such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People departments. These managers lead teams consistently to achieve not only a fast and friendly customer experience but also maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and employee development.
In this position, you will be part of a leadership team comprising the Owners, Director of Operations, Area Supervisors, and General Managers, all of whom have grown within the company starting from crew positions. This creates a motivational atmosphere where staff members are supported with the necessary tools and resources to grow both personally and professionally. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts and managing departmental duties such as training, food safety, inventory oversight, goal setting, task delegation, and performance reporting. The Guest Service Department Manager focuses on ensuring superb customer interactions, smooth sales promotions, and well-organized front counter and drive-thru operations. The Kitchen Department Manager maintains high food standards, controls food costs, and ensures all kitchen staff are well trained on procedure and menu changes. The People Department Manager concentrates on hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and recognizing crew members to meet the restaurant’s sales and profit goals.
Applicants are expected to have prior managerial experience, preferably in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry.
