As a Dental Receptionist at CanAm Dental LLC in Rosecrans, CA, you will be a pivotal part of the front office team, responsible for maintaining a welcoming and efficient atmosphere in a fast-paced dental office. This role is centered around managing patient appointments, supporting operational goals, and delivering superior customer service. Your primary tasks will include scheduling appointments to meet monthly and daily patient goals, handling communications through phone calls, greeting and checking in patients, and accurately verifying dental benefits. You will also be responsible for managing patient records meticulously, creating insurance claims, submitting pre-authorizations timely, and handling payments such as co-payments and deductibles. Additionally, maintaining a clean and professional office environment and assisting in explaining treatment plans are key aspects of the position.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic computer proficiency
- willingness to learn dental software systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft
- availability to work full-time
- commitment to providing excellent patient service
Job Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- customer service experience
- Dentrix and/or Eaglesoft (preferred)
Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
- schedule patient appointments per month and daily patient goals
- answer phones and confirm appointments
- greet and check-in patients
- accurately verify dental benefits
- maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
- collect payments, co-payments, and deductibles
- create insurance claims and submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies on a timely basis
- pull patient charts for future appointments when necessary
- maintain a clean and professional office environment
- assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
