The Delivery Services Strategy Lead role is a significant position within Nespresso, responsible for directing the strategy and execution of international product flows into third-party warehouses and customers. This role utilizes data and analytics to foster continual improvements, leading cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality, reducing operational costs, and elevating efficiency. The position also focuses on cementing compliance with regulations, maintaining robust controls, and resolving operational gaps promptly to ensure uninterrupted supply continuity and overall business success.
This hybrid role, based out of Nespresso USA’s Manhattan Herald Square office in New York City, offers a two-day onsite work arrangement combined with remote work flexibility. The position includes oversight of delivery services strategy from a holistic perspective including service execution, project management, sustainability commitments tied to recycling strategies, continuous improvement programs, and detailed reporting and analytics. The role is central to collaborating with marketing, e-commerce, customer service, logistics teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to implement new delivery services and drive initiatives focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
The Delivery Services Strategy Lead plays a pivotal role in expanding and refining delivery and recycling services with a strong emphasis on customer adoption, operational preparation, and infrastructure support. Driving projects that improve customer service levels across retail, B2C, and B2B channels, the position demands strategic vision, sound project management skills, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Operating in fast-paced environments, this individual needs to proactively communicate with internal and external teams, guaranteeing that operations are agile and resilient to changes while supporting sustainability goals.
Compensation for this role ranges from $115,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by performance-based incentives and a comprehensive total rewards package, including healthcare coverage and a 401k plan with company match. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain or logistics
- 1+ year of experience working with third-party warehousing providers
- demonstrated project management experience with cross-functional influence
- hands-on experience with ERP, OMS, and TMS systems

Job Duties
- Create, lead, and implement strategies tied to existing and new delivery services
- ensure a high service level for deliveries to final customers including retail, B2C, and B2B members
- co-lead execution of a marketing plan for delivery and recycling services
- support logistics/transport specialist with pitching, documenting, and implementing new services from an IS/IT standpoint
- create and lead strategy around customer adoption of new services
- orchestrate preparation of services activation with Nespresso and third-party logistics operations
- identify, document, and pitch IS/IT infrastructure requirements to support service strategies
- develop and lead collaboration with marketing, e-commerce, and customer service for new delivery services
- lead execution of customer improvement, efficiency, and cost-saving projects
- communicate internally to supply chain and externally to third parties about operations impact
- develop and execute long and short term recycling strategies
- create and implement delivery services strategies tied to increased recycling rates
- implement continuous improvement programs with suppliers through regular meetings
- plan and develop customer surveys on delivery experience
- create and support Power BI dashboards related to delivery service data and costs
- leverage AI for data automation
- prepare reports and analysis for business reviews with third parties
- maintain and communicate all financial data related to delivery services
