Its expansive network includes world-class supply chain and distribution operations, dedicated sales professionals, a robust online presence, and a widespread network of Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores. The company's operations through Office Depot, LLC and ODP Business Solutions, LLC empower businesses, professionals, and consumers across the nation to achieve more every day. Known for its commitment to service excellence, The ODP Corporation is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. This strong foundation positions it as an industry leader in business solutions and supply chain distribution.
The role of Driver, Delivery Services at The ODP Corporation is a critical full-time position that requires a commitment to safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. This position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience, and includes full benefits, reflecting the company’s dedication to its employees. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM until the day's tasks are completed. The driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products, often navigating multiple route coverage areas. This role not only involves delivery execution but also emphasizes the importance of building and maintaining client relationships, as the driver represents the company’s brand in the field.
The ideal candidate holds a chauffeur’s license class D for a 20 FT truck, meeting state-specific endorsement requirements and follows the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines for commercial motor vehicle operation. While a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is helpful, it is not mandatory. The driver is accountable for completing daily delivery tasks including package scanning, collecting proof of delivery, and handling any issues that may prevent successful deliveries. Exceptional safety practices are paramount, including vehicle inspections, adherence to legal standards, and safe loading and unloading of merchandise to ensure products reach customers in pristine condition.
Furthermore, this position encourages forward-thinking behavior through continuous improvement suggestions and active engagement in sales enablement by generating leads and communicating customer feedback to sales and supervisory personnel. Beyond routine responsibilities, the role demands physical stamina to manage heavy lifting, extensive walking, and adapting to various weather conditions. Technical competencies such as familiarity with scanning devices, GPS routing, and overall product knowledge are important for operational success.
