The current job opening at AVI Foodsystems is for the position of Delivery Route Driver, a vital role that ensures timely and efficient delivery of food products to client locations. This is a full-time position with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 5am to 2pm. The Delivery Route Driver will be responsible for loading delivery vehicles with the necessary products, maintaining proper refrigeration during transit, and ensuring all deliveries are made in a professional and courteous manner. The role also includes managing the company vehicle with care and coordinating with vending attendants to collect products and required documentation.

Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
Valid driver’s license without the need for a CDL
Good driving record
Ability to pass the DOT Physical
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Outgoing personality
Excellent organization and time management skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently

Job Duties

Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
Discard unsold and stale merchandise
Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
Manage the care of the company vehicle
