With a workforce exceeding 6,500 dedicated professionals, AmeriGas operates more than 1,800 distribution points nationwide, delivering over 1 billion gallons of propane annually. This extensive network and commitment to safety, customer service, and innovation have cemented AmeriGas as the largest propane distributor in the country. Known for its reliability and comprehensive service offerings, AmeriGas fosters a culture that values its employees and provides significant career advancement opportunities, making it a highly sought-after employer in the energy sector.

The role of Delivery Representative at AmeriGas offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic and customer-focused career. As a Delivery Representative, you will be integral to the frontline operations, responsible for safely delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The position demands a strong commitment to safety protocols, adherence to federal and state regulations, and excellent customer service skills. Delivery Representatives operate propane delivery trucks along designated routes, fill bulk tanks, deliver propane cylinders, and ensure all tasks are performed with the highest safety standards. This role is particularly suited for those who thrive in an active work environment and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Employment for this position is full-time, offering competitive pay ranging from $31.50 to $32.50 per hour, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, certifications, and prior experience. Additionally, employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses or commissions depending on their position. AmeriGas emphasizes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, 401(k) retirement plans with company match, paid time off including parental and military leave, paid holidays, and disability coverage. The company also provides uniforms and an employee referral program.

Safety incentives and career development opportunities are key components of the AmeriGas work culture, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to employee welfare and professional growth. This position requires a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and successful completion of DOT physicals, drug testing, and background checks. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. AmeriGas promotes equal employment opportunities and maintains a drug-free workplace, underscoring its dedication to safety and compliance. If you are motivated, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented with a readiness to contribute to a leading propane distribution company, this Delivery Representative position offers a rewarding career path with AmeriGas.
