Worldpac is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to join their dynamic branch operations. This role is vital as it combines delivery responsibilities with warehouse shipping and receiving functions, providing a unique opportunity for individuals who enjoy both customer interaction and operational logistics. The Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member will be responsible for driving established routes safely and efficiently, delivering products, and performing pickups of returned merchandise from customers. This dual function role ensures that merchandise is handled with care and stays on schedule as it moves through distribution channels.

In addition to driving, this position entails managing various warehouse tasks such as sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise for storage or shipment, as well as maintaining accurate delivery and receiving records. Handling customer funds during deliveries and other related duties also contribute to day-to-day responsibilities. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • eligible to work within the country in which you are applying
  • must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards
  • must meet all applicable state or province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle
  • consistent and reliable attendance
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • operates safely and maintains a clean and neat work environment
  • ability and willingness to drive safely adhering to all company safety standards
  • capable of safely operating equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
  • proficient in basic math skills
  • ability to use the computer and a handheld radio frequency device

  • ability to safely lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance as required

Job Duties

  • Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner
  • creates and maintains records as needed
  • dispatches, confirms customer orders and generates delivery manifests and receiving documents
  • sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity
  • ensures that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for
  • collects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents
  • other duties may be assigned
