In this position, the Delivery Specialist uses their organizational skills to load, unload, and arrange products safely and efficiently, ensuring that vehicle inspections and safety checks are consistently performed before and after trips. Communication with customers is central to this role, keeping them informed and addressing concerns during delivery to create positive experiences. Operating delivery vehicles and equipment, including trailers and forklifts where applicable, is a key responsibility requiring adherence to all traffic laws and company policies for safe driving practices.
The role demands physical stamina and strength to handle bulky or heavy merchandise, as well as the ability to push or pull heavy loads using equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies. Candidates must possess excellent time-management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery schedules while maintaining safety and customer service standards. Experience working with delivery logistics, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness contribute to success in this role.
This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and compliance with the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements, along with holding any required professional certifications such as a DOT Medical Card. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to meet the demands of the delivery schedule. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Meet Motor Vehicle Record check requirements
- DOT Medical Card as required
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Calendar
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous truck delivery experience is a plus but not required
- Experience with hand truck dolly pallet jack and forklift preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- Meet Motor Vehicle Record check requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card as required
- Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2 000 pounds with proper equipment
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Calendar
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong customer service skills with professional and friendly attitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read write and count accurately
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps

Job Duties
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ensure timely deliveries meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery times
- Operate and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and equipment including trailers
- Load unload and organize products in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and issues
- Communicate with customers providing updates and addressing concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service creating positive and friendly experiences
- Partner with field sales team and store personnel to satisfy customer needs
- Handle all products with care to avoid damage
- Follow traffic laws and company policies for safe driving
