The role requires reliability for early morning starts at approximately 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday. Drivers must navigate complex city routes without depending heavily on GPS technology, demonstrating familiarity with Washington, D.C., and the greater DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area. Additionally, the successful candidate must have strong communication skills, a focus on food safety, and the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Beyond delivery duties, the driver contributes to operational tasks that keep the food service running smoothly. They collaborate closely with school partners to foster cooperative relationships, effectively communicate any issues or feedback, and adjust routes or procedures when necessary.
