The US Foods Driver role is vital to the company's operations, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food and beverage delivery
  • Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80 plus pounds repeatedly
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops
  • Ability to operate manual transmission may be required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements

Job Duties

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from trailers using two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand and place in designated storage areas
  • Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper customer signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance the customer experience
  • Comply with all federal and state driving regulations and safety standards
