The company is renowned not only for its extensive product offerings but also for its commitment to employee development, comprehensive benefits, and an ownership culture that values collaboration, diversity, and inclusion. Graybar’s workforce is empowered by the employee stock ownership plan, making every team member a stakeholder in the company’s success. This approach fosters a strong sense of belonging and motivates employees to contribute their best efforts to the company’s growth and innovation.

As a Delivery Driver at Graybar, you will play an essential role in the company’s supply chain and customer service operations. Your primary responsibility will be to safely transport orders from the warehouse directly to customers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining positive customer relationships. This position offers a dependable and predictable work schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 4:00 am to 1:00 pm, with no overnight or weekend travel, allowing you to be home each night. Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

In this role, you will be entrusted with various tasks such as assisting in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency, loading and unloading trucks using warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining accurate vehicle and delivery logs. Safety is paramount; therefore, you must carefully inspect vehicles and supplies before and after routes and operate the delivery vehicle responsibly at all times. This job also demands physical capability to work in a warehouse environment and the safe operation of both warehouse equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Graybar highly values excellent customer service skills, as face-to-face interactions with clients are a regular part of the day-to-day activities. You will have the opportunity to not only deliver products but also gather and relay customer feedback, promoting the company’s services and products to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Joining Graybar means becoming part of a company that prioritizes employee well-being through a comprehensive package of benefits. Employees can enjoy a variety of health plans including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage. Additionally, life insurance options, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, and profit-sharing plans provide financial peace of mind. Retirement savings are supported through a 401(k) plan with company matching. Plus, generous paid time off, holidays, wellness days, and community volunteer time support a balanced work life and encourage personal growth.

Graybar's commitment to diversity means all employees are welcomed regardless of background. This diverse environment drives innovation and problem-solving by bringing varied perspectives. Besides fostering a culture of respect and inclusion, Graybar invests heavily in career development and educational reimbursement programs to empower employees to reach their full potential.
