The role of a US Foods Delivery Driver is a vital part of the company’s operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and related products to customers. Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely operating trucks and adhering to strict schedules to meet customer delivery times. The role demands a proactive approach to safety and compliance, including registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, which is mandatory under Department of Transportation regulations. Candidates must have a valid CDL Class A license with the necessary endorsements and qualifications, be at least 21 years old, and possess relevant commercial driving experience. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
