The Decatur, AL Shuttle Yard location is currently seeking dedicated and professional Drivers to join their team. This full-time role operates primarily Monday through Friday, or Monday through Thursday depending on scheduling needs, with competitive pay starting at $24.05 per hour during training and performance-based incentive pay upon completion of training. US Foods Drivers play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers, maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service throughout their daily activities.

As a US Foods Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to deliver products, carefully unloading merchandise using various handling equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, and ensuring accurate delivery verification with customers. You will be performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality. In addition to driving responsibilities, drivers also engage directly with customers, often handling collections and payments while representing US Foods as a professional and reliable face of the company.

Working in this role requires physical stamina as drivers are expected to lift and carry loads ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly in each shift, and operate effectively in various weather conditions with frequent stops.
