The role of Deli Dishwasher at Sendik's Food Markets is integral to maintaining the high standards for which the company is known. The Deli Dishwasher serves as the backbone of the Deli Department, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all dishes and utensils used in both the Deli and Bakery Departments. - Minimum age of 16 years due to required operation of deli equipment
- Eagerness to interact with customers

- Physical ability to stand walk lift bend push pull for long periods
- Capacity to lift weights up to 80 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age due to required operation of Deli equipment
- Eagerness to interact with customers
- Strong sense of team ability to anticipate the needs of the team
- Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities under general supervision
- Excellent time management prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand walk lift bend push pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Job Duties
- Serve customers in the Deli Department while modeling Sendik's culture and providing best in class customer service which includes greeting engaging delighting and thanking every guest for their business
- Wash sanitize dry and put away all dishes and utensils
- Empty and load the dishwasher
- Clean equipment including but not limited to the dishwasher Grind 2 Energy machine and deli slicers
- Clean Deli Department including but not limited to counter tops floors hot cold bar and deli cases
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new associates in the Deli Department
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety sanitation regulations and procedures
- Assist with all other Deli Department duties as needed
