Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food retail environment
- Reliable and predictable full attendance
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Capability to handle lifting and moving heavier or awkward items with assistance
- Comfortable working in indoor environments with temperature fluctuations including freezers and warm areas
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, safety standards, and food handling regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a deli department preferred
- Experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice deli products including meats and cheeses
- Package and weigh deli items accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the deli department and display cases
- Assist members by answering questions and taking special orders
- Receive, inspect, stock, and rotate deli shipments in compliance with food safety standards
- Prepare and package special orders and party trays
- Operate deli equipment safely and sanitize food surfaces
- Ensure all deli products meet company quality standards and are fresh
- Maintain accurate pricing and scale operation
- Follow all club policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Uphold safety and positive environment for members and team members
