Job Description
Harris Teeter is seeking an individual to assist in managing and supervising up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department. This role involves working closely with the Department Manager to oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department in accordance with Harris Teeter's policies and standards.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years of related experience and/or training preferred
- commitment to unparalleled customer service
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
- ability to work under pressure and with distractions
- strong supervisory skills
- ability to handle customer and associate interactions with patience and professionalism
- knowledge of HT Internet software, E-mail, Inventory software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
- ability to perform mathematical operations with American currency and measurements
- strong reasoning ability to deal with standardized situations and instructions
